About the Doctor With more than twenty years of clinical and research experience in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Yao has practiced in both China and the United States. She is highly skilled in obstetrics, painless labor, and cosmetic cesarean incisions. Utilizing advanced medical equipment and technology, she specializes in postpartum aesthetic recovery. Dr. Allan Akerman
About the Doctor A top OB-GYN in Los Angeles with over 18 years of extensive clinical experience, Dr. Akerman has cared for more than 8,000 mothers. He also serves as the Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Joseph Hospital. He holds the prestigious ABOG certification—one of the highest honors in obstetrics and gynecology—and in 2010, upon recommendation by active fellows, he was nominated and inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). About the Doctor Dr. She previously served at United Family Healthcare, a premier international medical group whose OB-GYN department is the preferred choice among many top celebrities in mainland China. During her six-year tenure, she personally delivered nearly 1,000 babies and skillfully managed complex gynecologic cases. Her strong medical expertise and heartfelt care have earned her a loyal base of long-term patients. Specialties Her specialties include diagnosing and treating abnormal uterine bleeding (menstrual disorders), ovarian and fallopian tube diseases, pelvic pain, endometriosis, fibroids, vulvar disorders, and menopausal conditions. She is also highly experienced in minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries such as hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, and perineal procedures.
Dr. Judy Zhu Wei
About the Doctor Born in Taiwan and raised in the United States from the age of nine, Dr. Wei is fluent in Mandarin, English, and Spanish. As a mother of three, she deeply understands the emotional experiences and needs of expectant and postpartum mothers, offering care with empathy and attentiveness. Specialties She provides prenatal examinations, postpartum recovery care, natural childbirth, scarless cesarean delivery, and VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean section).
Dr. Steven Sun
About the Doctor A graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School, Dr. Sun began his medical career at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital, the second-largest children's hospital in Southern California. He later practiced at Hoag Irvine Pediatrics and currently serves at both HOAG and St. Joseph Hospital. He is fluent in Mandarin, English, and Spanish. Specialties He specializes in treating children with ADHD and developmental delays and has extensive experience managing pediatric asthma and chronic cough.
